Steampunk: Pub (Update)

Below I decided to read texture the pub and adding more detail in order to fritter sit into the new environment seamlessly and also using real-life lighting can see that the pub is looking very realistic

one of the main problems I've had with the pub is that some of the art style and the architecture in my opinion possibly could look to modern the period I am a aiming for as the pub almost looks of a 60s nature when I'm looking at a style almost 100 years older but I'm hoping from adding more detail and possibly changing the textures I can change the feel and look of the pub

Here I really wanted to make the windows look old by adding the sort of end bottle shape of the glass this I believe has made the windows seem very realistic and feel old

As I started making everything modular in order to duplicate it to save memory immunity as you can see above the  windows and the different sides of the walls have been separated and these will be duplicated in order to save memory

Steampunk Assets: Scaffolding & Crane

you have as I discussed in my previous post about Rome 2 using the simple word assets I made by Soil created these in unity the scaffolding crying all made up of only three bits of wood and as these are instanced I'm saving a huge amount of memory as all these bits individual and small when I had occlusion culling by means these will not be seen by the player which will save even more memory

Below you can see the scaffolding that I made scaffolding one which will hold pipes and crates barrels

Steampunk: Flying Conveyor Belt (Update)

in order to make my environment seem more like it's in a steam punk universe I decided to update and revise my flying conveyor belt as you can see below this is what I've done adding in the classic bronze metal and wood in order to give the feel of assisting the style this I will add into my unity environment with steam coming out the finals on each of the engines and the propellers rotating as they would do in real life this will fly over the environment connected to a building and will hopefully have a moving texture on top of coal slowly falling in to one of the barges that I've made

below is a close-up shotof one of the engines that will be attached to the main conveyor belt as you can see in the top left is the final with a steam exhaust will exceed the engine I had been looking at some of the styles of engines from other steampunk concept art using this as my inspiration and my own idea of this steam engine I produced what you see below
