Steampunk: Ramp

A couple of years ago I went on holiday to Cornwall me in my family visited Port isaac This is where Doc Martin was filmed in the second picture below is a ramp moving up the side of the valley to the left is the harbour this is the view and idea I would like to put into my new environment using more research from Port Isaac I made this simple drawing at the end of this post in order to show my basic idea of what I hopefully want this ramp to look like in my new environment

Below is the picture that I drew using the inspiration from the images above as you can see I've added in my flying conveyor belt and also there will be a warehouse hanging off the side of the ramp which will be a storehouse and have a crane on it which I have previously made and possibly having holes in the side of the ramp fraud at water to escape this I hope will make the environment really interesting and really make it look like a working port

Steampunk: New Lay Out

As I said in one of my previous posts about Marie doing the environment layout I looked at some basic designs as you can see below I have drawn onto pages altogether there are three designs the last one  is a more detailed design of the second image on the other page this is the environment layout I believe I'm going to go for to help make my environment look more interesting and more realistic and more organic

Steampunk Research: Amsterdam

On holiday to Amsterdam while walking around the unique city full of canals and old buildings which I thought would be great inspiration for my environment I gradually took pictures as I walked around the city and when I visited the Heineken Museum I took pictures of the barrels crates and eventually this the brewery with all the copper and brass and metal pipework which was ideal as inspiration for my environment or so there were pictures of other buildings with towers on the side which I would like to duplicate in my environment and really add uniqueness and one-off buildings to the environment to really make the environment aesthetically pleasing
